For the DIY ball crusher, 2pcs of polycarbonate from McMastercarr. 6x6 x 1/4" or 3/8" thick. Drill one 21/4" hole in one pcs (centered from the sides and 2 3/8" from one end. Hole saw works great) drill one 1.75" hole in the other pcs ( same location). Attach a hinge to the end where the holes you drilled are closest.

Think it's the same as max pipe pressure so max pressure would be somewhere over 60mpa. The ice crusher seems to have a passive pressure regulator inside it so won't completely empty by its self unless the pipe it's connected to is emptied.
